Founded by Spanish-born Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, the original House of Balenciaga defined modern couture with its many innovations to form and technique.
Today it continues to uphold the vision of the House through boundary-pushing collections including women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and objets d’art. The brand’s unprecedented interactions with the expanding digital realm, material developments, and today’s social responsibilities keep it at the forefront of modernity.
In 2021, Balenciaga’s 50th Couture collection—the House’s first since its founder retired in 1968 – reintroduces a standard of cutting-edge elegance.
From October 2015 to July 2025, Demna designed both men’s and women’s collections as the Artistic Director.
In July 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli was appointed Creative Director of Balenciaga.
You will report to the gifting and activation creative project manager and contribute to the development of gifting and in-store activations.
MISSIONS
Support the team in the day-to-day definition and development of Balenciaga VIC gifting and retail animations:
Assist the team with gifting developments
- Take care of sorting and organizing all documentations received from suppliers (tech files, samples, planning and offers…)
- Review suppliers’ offer and prepare analysis
- Check samples and prepare feedback
- Ensure all presentations are up to date with key infos
- Organize and archive all development samples
- Work closely with clienteling department to ensure shared resources are up to date.
- Prepare guideline for WW gifting roll out
Competition Study
- Analyse competitors gifting, retail activation and innovations
- Deep dive on agencies benchmarks and trends
Support for key meetings
- Ensure presentations are up to date for top management review (visuals, key facts, planning…)
- Operational supports for key meetings (samples shipment and other)
PROFILE
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong interest in creative trends & innovations
Enthusiastic, proactive and team player
Sensibility for the luxury and fashion sector
Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or similar discipline
Fluency in both French & English, Italian is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point). Knowledge of Adobe Pack is considered a plus.
Previous professional experience in development and/or gifting related positions will be considered a plus.
