About us Founded by Spanish-born Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, the original House of Balenciaga defined modern couture with its many innovations to form and technique. Today it continues to uphold the vision of the House through boundary-pushing collections including women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and objets d’art. From October 2015 to July 2025, Demna designed both men’s and women’s collections as the Artistic Director. In July 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli was appointed Creative Director of Balenciaga.

Your Contribution within the Denim Design Team:

- Familiarization with the themes defined by the Creative Director
- Research documentation related to the defined themes
- Create detailed sketches by hand and using Photoshop / Illustrator
- Provide daily support to the Denim design team (mood boards, meeting organization, prototypes)
- Assist during fittings and/or during the show

- Work on maquettes through sewing and 3d development, to support the design process.

You are:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bachelor +4 or +5) and enrolled in a design/fashion school, with the internship being part of your academic program.

- Demonstrating a strong interest in illustration.

- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

- Reactive, autonomous, and highly organized.

- Able to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

- Having a first experience in a studio environment.

- Fluent in French and English; Italian is a plus.

- Available starting May 2026.
