GUCCI Junior Product Developer

Role Mission 

The Junior Product Developer will support the daily operations of the Creative Atelier and the Product Development team, supporting the smooth execution of both creative and technical activities. In this hybrid operational and development-focused role, you will contribute to the development of RTW collections, assist during fittings, and update all related documentation. You will also manage essential atelier logistics, including supplies, shipments, and IT support requests— to ensure an efficient and well-organized workflow. Working closely with the Senior Product Developer, internal departments, suppliers, and General Services, you will help maintain continuity across all stages of product development, from prototype creation to collection delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ordering and inventory of materials for the Creative Atelier ensuring continuous availability for tailoring activities.
• Oversee the procurement and organization of office supplies, ensuring adequate stock and smooth operations.
• Facilitate the creation of IT support tickets with Kering and Lectra for computer-related issues or the setting up of profiles for new hires.
• Assist in handling requests for courier services and other messenger-related tasks.
• Collaborate with General Services for any requests related to ordinary and extraordinary resources.
• Support in attending fittings and taking notes to update documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation necessary for the transfer of information between pattern makers and the design team.
• Organize and maintain files containing fitting information and collection details.
• Support in preparing documents and project delivery timelines.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience (1–2 years) in a similar role, ideally within RTW development for luxury or premium brands.
• Ensure accuracy in expense reporting, shipment monitoring, and cataloging accessories.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable using IT systems and creating support tickets for technical issues.
• Proactive and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ability to liaise with internal teams and external vendors for smooth operations.
• Flexible to support activities and respond to urgent transportation or logistics needs.
• Availability to travel occasionally within Italy and abroad.
• Fluency in Italian and good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of Excel and any relevant software packages.
