GUCCI Leather Good Design Intern

Your Opportunity

Working under the guidance of the Leather Goods Design Team, the Leather Goods Design Intern will support the design team throughout the creative process, contributing to the development of innovative and on-brand LG collections. This internship represents an excellent opportunity to develop creative and technical skills, gain hands-on experience in luxury product design, and actively participate in special projects aligned with the Brand’s aesthetic, values, and craftsmanship excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sketches and design proposals based on designers’ input and Brand guidelines
• Propose creative ideas and contribute to the development of new concepts
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and design reviews
• Support the preparation of design presentations, mood boards, and creative materials
• Assist in color research and material coordination
• Conduct market and trend research to stay up to date with industry developments
• Use design software to create high-quality drawings, renderings, and visuals for SLG projects
• Support designers in the creation and refinement of digital renders, applying materials and textures to sketches and photographs
• Assist with updates, changes, and corrections to design renderings
• Maintain and organize design archives, references, images, and inspirational materials
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in proportions, colors, materials, and overall realism of renderings and artworks

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Procreate; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous experience (academic or internship) in a similar role is considered a plus
• Knowledge of product construction, materials, fabrics, techniques, and industrial production processes is an advantage
• Strong interest and knowledge of fashion, trends, designers, and Brand heritage
• Positive attitude and strong team spirit in a multicultural environment
• Ability to work with energy, focus, and precision in a fast-paced setting
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English and Italian
