Your opportunity

We are currently seeking a Regional Tailor who will report to the Retail Director and will be based out of our Madison Avenue store in New York City when not traveling.

The Regional Tailor will travel in support of all retail and franchising stores in the region for their VIP Home Service, seasonal trunk shows, and events. This role will partner with the Retail Excellence department to deploy training programs on Bespoke, Sartorial Culture, and techniques to the sales team and store tailors.

When the Regional Tailor is not traveling, they will function as a store tailor and report to the Store Manager.

How you will contribute

• Provide tailoring service for regional trunk shows and coordinate such events according to the commercial calendar, working strictly with the Retail and Wholesale departments
• Provide tailoring service for private VIP appointments in the region, coordinating with the Retail Manager
• Coordinate Home Service activities as the main point of contact engaging with top VICs
• Partner with the store to follow up with Production on orders from trunk shows and VIP services to ensure a successful result and smooth delivery to the client
• Support stores in the region by delivering tailoring services on the floor, giving in-store training, and coaching and developing store tailors, as needed
• Advise all clients of best fit for body characteristics
• Lead measurements for ‘Made-to-Measure’ line and ‘Ready-to-Wear’ garments
• Support Bespoke training at the beginning of each season, prioritizing stores without a Bespoke Ambassador to deliver dedicated training on new fabrics’ technical aspects and fittings
• Partner with Regional Directors to develop business opportunities and outside activities for new streams of revenue and new client acquisition

Who you are

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on tailoring experience
• Men’s suiting background preferred
• Experience in a similar role within a fashion retail company, driving business results
• Flexible schedule and travel capabilities based on season and business needs
• Strong communication skills
• Strong ability to visualize customers’ size and make alterations proposals
• Team-orientated
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• High sensitivity to customers’ experience and loyalty

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 base salary
