    We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team based in Dubai.

    Your opportunity

    As part of the HR Shared Services Team based in Dubai, you will be responsible for all aspects of MEA payroll operations, managing end-to-end payroll processing for multiple brands and countries within the MEA region, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local labor laws, and timely salary disbursement. The role serves as a key point of contact for employee payroll queries, reconciliations, and cross-functional coordination, supporting both HR and Finance while maintaining strict confidentiality.

    How you will contribute

    Reporting to the Payroll Manager MEA and based in our office in Dubai, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    Payroll Processing

    • Process end-to-end payroll for assigned entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
    • Handle complex payroll scenarios, including adjustments, deductions, commissions, bonuses, and leave calculations.
    • Collaborate with payroll providers for smooth payroll execution and troubleshooting when needed.
    • Support final settlements, end-of-service benefits, and other statutory payments in accordance with UAE, KSA, and other MEA labor laws.

    Compliance & Reporting

    • Ensure payroll activities comply with local labor laws, social security, and statutory requirements across MEA countries.
    • Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary updates in payroll processes.
    • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for internal stakeholders and audits.

    Employee Support

    • Act as a primary point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and brand HR teams.
    • Provide guidance on payslips, deductions, leave balances, end-of-service benefits, and other payroll components.

    Audit & Quality Control

    • Conduct regular payroll audits and reconciliations with HR and Finance records to ensure data accuracy.
    • Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain accurate payroll documentation for compliance and audit purposes.

    Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with internal teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to managed payroll delivery services.
    • Collaborate with Brand HR to ensure payroll practices are aligned with policies and local regulations.
    • Oversee relationships with external payroll service providers and ensure service level agreements are met.

    System Integration and Optimization:

    • Collaborate with Kering IT teams to integrate internal systems seamlessly with managed payroll services systems and technologies.
    • Continuously optimize payroll processes to enhance efficiencies and data accuracy.
    •  Work collaboratively with stakeholders to address any system issues and implement system upgrades.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • 5 - 10 years of payroll experience, preferably in multi-entity or multi-country setups (MEA region).
    • Strong knowledge of UAE/KSA labor laws, payroll regulations, and statutory requirements.
    • Experience with payroll systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
