Reporting Line: General Manager, HKMC
Mission
- Design, localize, and implement training programs for retail teams and key partners across Hong Kong/Macau and Taiwan markets.
- Drive retail excellence through coaching, performance follow-up, and continuous learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with regional and local stakeholders to ensure training effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery & Execution
- Deliver brand induction, product knowledge, and selling skills training for new joiners.
- Conduct regular product training (Jewelry, Fine Jewelry, Watches) for boutique teams and external partners.
- Execute novelty training and seasonal learning focuses in alignment with global guidelines.
- Provide on-site coaching to boutique teams based on KPIs, Mystery Shopper results, and client experience evaluations.
- Support New Store Openings and commercial events (e.g., Trunk Shows, in-store promotions) with training and coaching.
2. Field Coaching & Performance Support
- Conduct regular in-store coaching to improve sales performance, clienteling mindset, and service excellence.
- Work closely with boutique managers and in-store trainers to implement action plans and track progress.
- Ensure post-training follow-up and evaluation to maximize learning impact.
- Identify performance gaps and propose tailored coaching solutions.
3. Training Content Localization & Development
- Localize and adapt training materials (presentations, toolkits, e-learning content) for HKMCTW market needs.
- Integrate storytelling, clienteling, and brand heritage into all training programs.
- Maintain and update training resources for optimal usage and relevance.
4. Project Coordination & Platform Management
- Coordinate regional learning projects and best practice sharing across boutiques.
- Support E-learning platform adoption and content localization.
- Assist in organizing boutique manager seminars, HJ elite club and other learning initiatives.
- Manage training records, vendor coordination, and contract follow-ups as needed.
5. Planning & Administration
- Support the development of the annual training calendar for HKMCTW.
- Track training effectiveness through KPIs and post-training evaluations.
- Prepare training reports for regional and commercial teams.
- Assist in training budget planning and ensure cost-effective execution.
Who You Are
1. Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in training, coaching, or retail excellence roles within luxury retail (Watch & Jewelry preferred).
- Proven track record in both classroom training and field coaching.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Retail Training Supervisor
2. Skills & Competencies:
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
