Your opportunity
We are currently seeking Financial Analyst who will report to R2R Manager as part of our dynamic team in Malaysia.
The Financial Analyst supports financial reporting, FP&A activities, tax/statutory coordination support, and inventory control processes across SEAO markets. The role provides critical financial and analytical support to Brand Finance, Shared Services teams, and external stakeholders to ensure high quality reporting, operational accuracy, and compliance with Group standards.
How you will contribute
Primary Responsibilities: Reporting & Analysis
Brand Partnering & Stakeholder Coordination
Act as daily contact point for assigned brands and markets.
Coordinate across Retail Operations, Logistics, and Brand Finance on financial, inventory, or audit-related items.
Work with Corporate Legal (HK) and corporate secretarial partners on filing matters.
Collaborate with Shared Services teams across P2P, R2R, MDM and Tech for end‑to‑end issue resolution.
Support various ad hoc assignments and projects as required by management.
Secondary Responsibilities : Intercompany & Recharges
Prepare supporting documentation for intercompany billing and service recharges.
Support logistics recharge flows between SSC and brands
Ensure proper GL coding, cost centre mapping, and approval routing for transactions.
Coordinate with R2R and Treasury for payment alignment and audit evidence.
Systems & Data Integrity
Maintain data accuracy and consistency across financial systems (HFM, MRP, JDA, ERP).
Support system changes, testing, dry‑runs and issue resolution as required.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal control procedures.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to process optimization across reporting, analytics, and month‑end closing.
Document SOPs, workflows, timelines, and cross‑market processes to strengthen operational consistency.
Support SEAO's initiatives on process harmonisation and closing calendar alignment.
