    About us Founded by Spanish-born Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, the original House of Balenciaga defined modern couture with its many innovations to form and technique.     Your opportunity
     

    Balenciaga is looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations to join their Visual Identity department.

    The team oversees graphic design related to packaging, internal communication and corporate Identity, ensuring that the visual strategy is aligned across the Brand.

    How you will contribute

    Reporting to the Visual Identity Director, the candidate will support the team in all stages of design process and will work across a wide range of assignments including research, development, and execution of artworks for the Visual Identity Department.

    Your main responsibilities will be :

    • Develop creative concepts and visual assets for fashion shows, invitations, and related events.
    • Design and produce print and digital materials (lookbooks, invitations, packaging, gifting assets).
    • Create mock-ups, conduct material and printing research, and prepare production files.
    • Support retail events through invitations and on-site visual branding.
    • Contribute to packaging design, logo applications, and product leaflets.
    • Participate in the development of the brand’s visual identity guidelines.
    • Produce internal communication materials (HR, training, in-store displays).
    • Support team in the process of all brand design and graphic developments
    • Assist department with image research, inspiration, benchmark from competition
    • Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately
    • Prepare artworks for print and follow the design development process from start to finish
    • Work on a wide range of projects, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals

    Who you are

    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
    • Fluency in both French & English languages
    • 3+ years of professional experience with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, 3D skills would be appreciated
    • Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
    • Creativity and innovative design skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Positive, collaborative attitude with an ability to collaborate across departments
    • Strong interest in creative trends, innovations and packaging
