    About us Founded by Spanish-born Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, the original House of Balenciaga defined modern couture with its many innovations to form and technique.     Your opportunity

    As a Social Media Project Manager Western Europe, you will oversee the Western Social Media ecosystem at Balenciaga, in close collaboration with the Head of Social and the Digital Director.

    How you will contribute

    Your main responsibilities will be:

    • Strengthen and elevate Balenciaga’s presence across key Western social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, while identifying opportunities on emerging channels.
    • Drive flawless execution of social media activations through meticulous planning, cross-functional coordination, and close alignment with marketing stakeholders.
    • Develop and manage weekly social communication plans for top management and the Artistic Director’s dedicated social platforms, ensuring consistency, relevance, and strategic impact.
    • Produce and deliver performance reports, transforming data into actionable insights and recommendations to continuously optimize content and channel performance.
    • Lead the development and production of AR experiences with a strong merchandising mindset, partnering with Image and Media teams to maximize visibility, engagement, and business impact.
    • Oversee the end-to-end execution of Balenciaga’s fashion show livestreams across Western and Eastern social platforms, as well as Balenciaga.com and Balenciaga.cn, ensuring seamless delivery and strong audience engagement.
    • Collaborate closely with the Image team to create and adapt creative assets for social media and e-retail needs, supporting fashion shows, content productions, VIP activations, and key brand moments.
    • Monitor competitor activity, platform innovations, and social media trends to identify opportunities, refine strategies, and enhance overall performance.
    • Manage and monitor social media project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.

    Who you are

    • Expert in social media, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the fashion/luxury or creative/entertainment industry
    • International experience is required
    • Strong knowledge of Western platforms and their usage  
    • Proficient in social media platforms and Photoshop
    • Curious, a team player with an entrepreneurial and challenger spirit
    • Strong understanding of creative environments, with experience working with creative talents
