    We are currently seeking a Sustainable Sourcing Intern to join our team, to support a range of activities within the remit of the Sustainable Sourcing & Nature Initiatives team.

    Your opportunity

    Part of the wider group-level Sustainability Programmes Team (which gathers environmental experts at Kering corporate to support the group’s luxury Houses), the Sustainable Sourcing & Nature Initiatives team’s role is to implement the strategy for sustainable sourcing and creation of a positive impact on Nature through the business. The team works in collaboration with the Group’s Houses, covering the entire supply chain, with a particular focus on the production of key raw materials for the Houses’ products. 

    This role will offer you invaluable exposure to the field of sustainability in luxury, allowing you to work closely with industry experts on projects that aim to help redefine luxury fashion’s relationship with nature.

    How you will contribute

    Your missions will be diverse and aligned with the aims of the team as described above. They will include:

    Support the Launch of the first two Water Resilience Labs: Assist in Kering’s preparation and launching of the Water Resilience Labs in Italy and in South Africa.

    Project management to keep the tempo and make sure all parties are moving according to schedule

    Project communications - Help structure internal communications to make sure everyone is up to date and aware of the project’s strategic importance and work with communications and institutional affairs on external communications

    Project metrics - Help finalize the right metrics and measurements as we close the design phase of the lab and get ready to go live

    Contribute to responding to Brands’ sourcing needs:  Help respond to Brands’ queries on sourcing using the Kering Standards and research on certifications and/or supplier profiles

    Support Reporting needs: help revamp Kering’s approach to SBTN commitments to ensure measured progress, help ensure progress on SBTi- FLAG commitments, help deploy the upcoming Regenerative Agriculture for Fashion guidelines to facilitate brands’ adoption of regenerative materials in their collections

    Support the implementation of other key projects related to the scope of work of the team, linked to biodiversity, animal welfare or sustainable raw material production and sourcing. Support other activities to help achieve the aims of the team, including creating a dashboard to facilitate project delivery.

    Who you are

    Currently pursuing a degree in sustainable business, environmental science, sustainability, agronomy or environmental engineering, or a related field.

    Interest in fashion supply chains and prepared to search for solutions

    Strong analytical and project management skills.

    Excellent Excel skills.

    Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.

    High level of proficiency in English and French, working knowledge of Italian would be an advantage.

    Prior experience in sustainability or sourcing is a plus.
