The McQueen Showroom and PR Trainee's main activities will be:
- Support with showroom back-office activities, samples care activities and digital photo archiving.
- Work across departments to manage seasonal samples and liaise with HQ and other regional press offices for local and international send outs and sample returns. Manage all sample couriers, shipments and international labels.
- Responsible for caring for all RTW & Accessories samples and presenting a consistent knowledge of each collection and the samples available within each season.
- Responsible for logging send outs and transfers on Fashion GPS and sharing packing lists with stylists.
- Check coverage in daily newspapers, scanning / clippings with the help of the team.
- Work with the team to ensure all coverage is saved correctly, and ensure all credits are distributed successfully to relevant contacts upon request.
- Assist the team with ad-hoc duties, depending on the team's daily needs.
Required Skills:
- Fluent in English and Italian;
- Able to demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours;
- Degree in a related discipline (PR / Communications / Journalism / Fashion);
- Previous experience in a fast-paced and agile PR department;
- Proactive with a high level of attention to detail;
- Excellent communications skills;
- Strong organisational skills.
