    BRIONI AMER Wholesale Director

    Your Opportunity

    The AMER Wholesale Director, based in New York and reporting to the WW Wholesale & Licenses Director, contributes to the success of the Wholesale Department by defining and driving the regional wholesale strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and consistent brand execution across the Americas, in alignment with Brioni’s standards of excellence.

    HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

    • Define and execute the regional wholesale strategy, ensuring consistency with global direction
    • Collaborate with the major U.S. department stores to increase sales, assure brand standards and create a strong, significant partnership suitable to a major luxury brand within their portfolio. 
    • Identify and drive new business opportunities, optimizing the distribution network
    • Lead client acquisition activities in line with Brand equity and exclusivity
    • Oversee the regional buying strategy and ensure alignment with merchandising guidelines
    • Ensure excellence and consistency in brand execution across partners (VM, client experience, training)
    • Monitor business performance and define action plans to maximize growth and profitability
    • Generate a seasonal market report including performance of the each major account with regard to both financial and product level results.
    • Negotiate terms, contracts, and seasonal buys to maximize brand presence and sales potential.
    • Conduct regular market visits to evaluate brand positioning, product performance, and competitor activity.
    • Lead and develop the wholesale sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • Minimum of 8-10 years in U.S. luxury/premium menswear wholesale management with existing relationships with senior management in all major luxury department stores.
    • Strategic and commercially driven, with solid comprehension of KPIs and distribution dynamics
    • Strong leadership presence and people management skills with a preference for collaboration.
    • Ability to lead and drive change in a regional organization with exemplary verbal and written communication skills, across all levels of the organization.
    • Exceptional knowledge of retail math, selling reports, financial measurements, and aspects of budgeting.
    • Capable to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30% annually
    • Strong relationship builder with key partners and stakeholders
    • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented
    • Strong sensitivity to brand positioning and client experience
    • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

    Salary Range: $185,000 - $200,000 per year
