Women In Motion Talks, a partner of Festival de Cannes

The Talks are an essential part of the Women In Motion program. They offer a platform for women working across the film industry and seek to advance the cause of gender equality in it. During the 74th edition of the Festival de Cannes, the Women In Motion Talks will welcome actresses such as Lou Doillon and Jodie Turner-Smith. Follow the live webcasted Talks and previously recorded episodes on this page.

The Women In Motion Talks

For nearly seven years, after 50 Talks and contributions from more than 70 of the industry’s leading lights, Women In Motion has become the platform of choice for changing mindsets, paying tribute to outstanding personalities, and thinking about the degree of recognition they receive within the industry.

Through its Talks and podcasts, the program also provides a platform for leading personalities to share their view of women’s representation, both onscreen and across the movie industry as a whole. Agnès Varda, Jodie Foster, Nadine Labaki, Chloë Sevigny, Diane Kruger, Carey Mulligan and Emilia Clarke are just some of the emblematic speakers to have been part of the program.
