Manage merchandise according to company’s merchandising strategy which reflects the brand image, sales target, market trend and client’s need to maximize sales opportunity while managing profitable stock level throughout product life cycle.
Report General Merchandising Manager on planning and the execution of all merchandising functions, including managing sales, seasonal buying, inventory, product delivery and product training for Men’s Leather goods and other categories (Travel, Sunglasses, Fragrances, MTO and new projects). This position is to take responsibility on Men’s Leather goods and support Leather goods business to collaborate to Women’s Leather goods function. Also, this position is major role to Identify sales opportunities and propose appropriate actions to take in the Men’s business.
Main Job Responsibilities
Collection Order
- Set Store cluster by category for Men’s Leather goods and give feedback to HQ
- Overview seasonal buying for Men’s Leather goods in Milan
- Feedback to HQ about Collections
- Order and system upload Men’s leather goods during the buying campaign
- Permanent assortment review and mapping by store per season
Allocation
- Rebalance stock, Weekly Store to Store Transfer
- Daily distribution by seasonal collection mapping / Manage sell thru by store
- Markdown stock allocation
Inventory Management
- Check the Shipment via SCDM and Share the information w/ stores
- Check PM stock-level and Request stock-replenishment in low stock level
- ICT at WW level
Store Support
<Monthly>
- Set Monthly focus to drive the sales
- Store visit to figure out sales trend and plan sales promotion each season
- Work closely with VM team on product launches and monthly floor-set
- Stock transfer according to VM guideline
<Seasonally>
- Store opening; Merchandising plan & allocation
- Seasonal event (incl. in store)/pop up merchandising allocation
<Daily>
- Feedback on daily request by store
- Store visit
- Reporting

- Merchandising feedback & Market request
- Competitors Price Survey & Analysis
- Sales recap & Strategy to share w/ store team
<Monthly>
- Sell thru report update
- Monthly sales Analysis for Business update meeting HQ
- Monthly MD Focus (store)

- Weekly sales comment
- Delivery status update for seasonal group
Conduct seasonal collection training
Monthly call with HQ Merchandising team
Partner effectively with cross functional team
Store visit with Corporate team
Markdown / Price Management
Qualification
- Fluency in speaking and writing English
Knowledge
- Enriched Fashion industry knowledge and possess a sense of fashion trends and market.
- Strong leadership and communicator with a proven track record in leading, coaching, developing and succession planning of buying team
Skills
- Proficient especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to think logically with orderly manner.
- Ability on using different interface (POS and ERP) systems.
- Attentive to details & result-oriented with flexible & positive thinking.
- A team player with pleasant personality and the ability to work independently.
- Dedication and good determination to meet deadlines.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in fashion merchandising/buying role with international fashion/luxury brand companies, Men’s department buying experience is preferred
