How you will contribute
- Assist in the long-term process planning, annual budget, and forecast processes in alignment with the strategic plan for Jewelry & Kering Corporate sectors.
- Prepare analyses of historical financials, provide variance explanations, and update forecasts with risks and opportunities to the current plan.
- Assist in identifying areas for technology adoption and streamlining processes to support Finance transformation initiatives.
- Perform ad hoc analyses as required to assist in management decision-making.
- Prepare full set of accounts (PL, BS, CF and Audit Schedules) for the month and year end reporting with a strong controllership mindset and ensuring that the financials prepared comply to applicable accounting standards.
- Conduct Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts analysis and Balance Sheet reviews.
- Assist the Finance Manager in all areas relating to year-end statutory reporting including Audits, Corporate tax and GST submissions (includes preparation of audit schedules, financial statements, managing audit queries and issues).
- Any other ad-hoc assignments, from time to time
Who you are?
- Holds a degree in accounting.
- 5 years working experience with initial 2 to 3 years of working experience is preferred with a public accounting firm and candidates from Big 4.
- Good knowledge in accounting standards.
- Proficient in systems such as HFM, SAP, and MS Office.
- Preferred experience in accounting and commercial roles within an MNC environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Adaptable to rapidly changing requirements.
- Self-driven and good analytical mindset, Agile and inquisitive
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and/or tight reporting deadlines
- Attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Minimum Travelling required for the role
