We are currently seeking a Global Merchandise Planning Assistant as part of our dynamic team in Milan.
How you will contribute
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting on business performance across all categories and regions
- Translate business needs into analytic and reporting requirements, issue analysis and interpret trends to support strategic priorities
- Support both Corporate and Regional Planning processes including Sales Plan and Open-to-Buy forecasts
- Monitor the evolution of the Buying campaign
- Provide other department with ad hoc data and analysis
- Facilitate decision making by publishing actionable Dashboards & KPIs on a regular basis (ST%, month of stock coverage, etc)
- Constantly check and secure data quality, consistency and completeness
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree (economics or statistics preferred) or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
- 1/2 year of working experience, preferably in (at least) one of the following sectors: merchandising planning, financial control or planning, business development or analyst
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- High proficiency on Office suite (Word, Excel, Access)
- Good knowledge of English both written and spoken
- Attitude to problem solving combined with strong professional relational skills
