    GUCCI LG Production Planning and Control Manager

Reporting to the LG Production Director, the Leather Goods Production Planning and Control Manager is responsible for managing production planning and progress for the Leather Goods category, coordinating external suppliers and internal departments, with the aim of guiding the production plans, in alignment with company strategy.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Lead both tactical and strategic levers related to production planning and capacity sizing across the entire production chain, ensuring efficient and sustainable process performance
    • Define finished‑product production plans for all Leather Goods categories and production lines, guaranteeing the proper balance between projected demand and produced volumes, in alignment with merchandising plans
    • Ensure effective coordination and monitoring of internal departments and strong partnership with external suppliers, insuring adherence to delivery timelines, quality standards and expected quantities
    • Collaborate with the Procurement department to ensure the timely sourcing of materials in line with production plan requirements
    • Analyze production data to identify improvement areas and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs

    Requirements

    • 8–10 years of experience in production planning and control of Leathergoods industry
    • Deep knowledge of the leather goods supply chain within the fashion industry
    • Solid understanding of the financial drivers affecting Company financial statements
    • Outstanding leadership skills, with proven experience in team management and development
    • Project Management skills, including strong planning and execution skills
    • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is appreciated.
