    GUCCI Merchandise and Business Planner

    Role Mission

    The Merchandise & Business Planner supports the planning and allocation processes by providing detailed financial and merchandise analysis. This role ensures that store-level, regional, and channel-level sales targets are accurately forecasted, tracked, and analyzed. The Planner collaborates with cross-functional partners to align inventory, assortment, and investment strategies with business goals.
     

    Key Accountabilities

    • Develop store, channel, and department sales projections;
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and seasonal planning processes;
    • Track performance vs. targets and analyze business drivers;
    • Conduct open-to-buy analysis, tracking receipts and alignment with sales goals;
    • Create visually impactful reporting tools and presentations for leadership;
    • Partner with Merchandising, Finance, and Operations on business initiatives.

    Key Requirements

    • Must be a team player;
    • BA in Finance, Economics, or related field;
    • 3–5 years of experience in planning, allocation, or financial analysis;
    • Strong analytical, modeling, and Excel skills;
    • Understanding of retail math and merchandise planning metrics;
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    Work Authorization

    Salary Range – New York 

    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, GUCCI includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.   

    A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $81,000 - $90,000.00 USD.
