Our Opportunity:
We are currently looking for an Operations Manager who be responsible for the end-to-end operations at Pomellato, which will include both Supply Chain Management as well as Customer Service. We expect that this role will be a combination of managing people and improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability.
How you will contribute:
Be an active member of the Americas leadership team to define the future direction, supporting strategic & tactical initiatives, in coordination with Operations HQ guidelines
Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
Analyze current operations processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement as needed
Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated
Liase with Group and HQ H&S and Security departments to implements all relevant guidelines
Communicate and explain new directives, policies or procedures to managers; for major changes, meet with staff to explain, train and answer questions
Propose IT improvements to make operations more efficient. Liaise with Kering IT and Pomellato HQ IT in order to ensure respect of all guidelines, with particular attention to cybersecurity issues and data protection
liaise with central logistics in such a way that operational efficiency is maximised.
Logistics – US & Mexico
Lead logistics/ operations team with strong focus on operational strategies. Ensure financial targets are adhered to and the services that are developed respect the budget
Establish and maintain effective policies and procedures for inventory tracking and after sales services.
Liase with the Customs Representatives for the import, VAT and duties on shipments and deliveries from HQ (Italy)
Manage 3PL warehouse, monitoring KPI’s, establishing areas for improvements in the processes; plan regular visit to warehouses to ensure constant monitoring of activities
Accountable for the accuracy of the inventories
Manage relationships with couriers and freight partners and negotiate rates.
Coordinate deliveries and shipments, ensuring they are fulfilled correctly and on time, liaising with customer service and 3PL
Coordinate the return process (fostering all the initiatives to mitigate custom costs e.g duty draw back)
Coordinate aftersales process to ensure that damaged pieces are repaired according to HQ standards and with the best possible lead time; establish KPIs and monitor constantly
Facilities Management
Oversee the physical maintenance of the corporate office space working with vendors for cleaning, non-structural repairs to ensure functionality, safety and efficiency of the workplace and compliance with OSHA & Fire Safety laws
Manage relationships with key operations vendors, track vendor pricing and service levels
Track and purchase office equipment, maintain inventory of office supplies
Review all cost proposals, challenging where needed;
Keep track and maintain all records for floor plans, specs, materials and preferred vendor list for the corporate location;
Review installations on site as required, verifying that repairs and lay-out improvements are being installed correctly;
Review and approve proposal and invoices on a timely basis;
Follow up with outstanding repairs and maintenance issues;
Liaise with Kering IT to ensure efficient IT operations, cybersecurity, data protection and management.
Who you are:
Degree in engineering or proven experience in Operations/Supply chain roles
Knowledge of ERPs, WMS
Knowledge of retail front end and back-end systems as a plus
Problem solving and analytical skills with advanced level in data analysis through excel
Foreign languages as a plus (Italian and French)
Must be authorized to work in the US
