    The Business Development & Wholesale Manager is responsible for driving the Maison’s growth through strategic partnerships, client activations, and retail development initiatives. Acting as both a commercial leader and a brand ambassador, this role enhances visibility, strengthens relationships, and expands the client base mainly across wholesale, i.e but not limited to: Saks group, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s (US) , Holt Renfrew (Canada) and in the future, Mexico— in close collaboration with local HQ teams. The job reports to the Vice President of Sales Americas, who manages all sales channels. An executive wholesale channel dedicated to administration and day-to-day key account management and sales support will report to the manager.

    BASE SALARY: $125,000 - $145,000 per year

    Key Missions:

    • Business development through client activations:
      Negotiate, animate and cooperate with the support of the wholesale executive and when relevant with the help of HQ, all trunk shows, private client events, and in-store activations with department stores and partners, ensuring brand excellence and measurable commercial results.
    • Network Expansion & Business Introducers:
      Identify and build relationships among stylists, personal shoppers, business introducers, and other high-potential connectors not yet in contact with the Maison, to diversify the client sources and broaden reach.
    • New Market & Partnership Development:
      Identify new opportunities with commercial partners, or new cities or regions where bespoke events can be created with local partners to generate incremental sales , contribute in supporting retail activations beyond the current network, notably in wealthy spots,  when necessary.
    • Negotiation & Contracting:
      Lead discussions with partners to ensure favorable terms and long-term brand value, while maintaining the Maison’s image and standards of excellence in terms of discount practice, trade terms, receivables with the support of HQ.
    • Client Portfolio Expansion:
      In coordination with the Head of Private Client Relations, proactively identify, attract, and convert new final clients and high-potential prospects to enrich the Maison’s CRM database (clients and prospects)
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
      Work hand-in-hand with the Merchandising, Retail, PR, and Event teams to ensure cohesive brand representation, optimize event execution, and create exceptional client experiences.
    • Performance Tracking:
      Core KPI is sales and final client conversion to Boucheron and evaluate the impact of activations, partnerships, and client initiatives, reporting insights and recommendations to management.

    Other department interactions:

    • Merchandising and /or retail for product availability beyond the dedicated wholesale stock
    • Marketing team: for event production and marketing coordination
    • Retail teams for synergies on brand event with client’s partners.

    Profile  Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree minimum 
    • 5-8 years dual experience in luxury/ fashion retail and wholesale, ideally with supervisory experience with proven results.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, able to develop their own business and client portfolio autonomously
    • Strong business acumen and drive
    • Highly skilled at creating valuable relationship and developing new connections among HNWI and tastemakers.
    • Team oriented with excellent interpersonal and social skills, and transparent communication style.
    • Ability to work a varied schedule, including from time to time weekends and holidays  
    • Ability to travel to execute locally-relevant client activations and develop client network (with the support of local HQ if necessary)
    • A real interest at minimum for the Jewerwy and watch category and enjoying being a brand Ambassador.
    • Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint  
    • Foreign language a plus
