Role
- Ensure the company’s accounting and financial processes meet established Internal control standards,
- Managing effectively the finance projects
- Being the brand finance ambassador with effective communication with shared service and brand contributors.
Responsibilities
Manage Finance data with Kering Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC)
(1) Coordinate with FSSC for the monthly/annual closing
- Before closing: Check the previous closing issues, accrual, discuss with FSSC on special case treatment
- During closing : Check the initial PL & BS to find the errors and communicate it with Kering FSSC before final HFM submission
- After closing: Check the datails of submitted data - by store, by month, margin/rent/SA commission/depr and other % variance
(2) Review the company’s overall process & accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
- Monthly BS reconciliation & CF checking with FSSC
- Continous communication with FSSC for the issues, special treatments, etc
- Communication and liasion with HQ Controlling department for issue reporting or getting direction
(3) Review & support for Tax return/Tax audit, Brand allocation cost, etc
Internal control
(1) Support internal control policies & procedures set up
(2) Support the communication & Training for the policy/procedure executions
(3) Retail controlling : Financial store process check & review
(4) Support for "Compliance" related points follow up
Support for Budget & FCST
(1) Basic data check with FSSC for Budget & FCST process
- Initial data preparation : Co-ordinate the data preparation/communication with both of BOU internal teams & Kering FSSC
- After system submission by Kering FSSC : Check the submitted data accuracy and related communications with FSSC & BOU HQ
(2) Project pre-control support : CAPEX, big expenditure, special payment, EVA preparation
(3) Cost saving control support : Monthly spending check and report
Ad-hoc report/analysis + System support & management
(1) Project management for ad-hoc processes implementation and improvements
(2) Utilize accounting ERP IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records
Who you are:
- Proven experience as finance manager or other similar position
- Fluent English in both speaking & writing communciations: Mandatory
- Sufficient knowledge of IFRS & GAAP and financial processes (financial closure, reporting etc.)
- Extensive working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel, powerpoint and power bi) and accounting ERP system (e.g. M3-Infor/ SAP)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Compliance oriented
- Well-organized with ability to prioritize
- BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is not mandatory but preferred
