    Your opportunity
Position: Regional Crisis & Security Manager – Japan & South-Korea
    Department: Security Department
Location: Based in Japan, with regular travel to South-Korea
Reports to: Group Head of Crisis Management
As Crisis & Security Manager for Japan and South-Korea, you lead Kering's security agenda across Kering Corporate and all Houses operating in both countries. Reporting to the Group Head of Crisis Management and working hand-in-hand with local management and the Houses, you protect Kering's people, assets and operations through three complementary missions: crisis & emergency preparedness and response; physical security and loss prevention; and risk intelligence, travel security and executive protection — which includes personally escorting the Kering Group Chairman and CEO during their visits to Japan and South-Korea. The role combines hands-on response capability with strategic advisory across offices, stores, warehouses and high-profile executive visits. You will also be expected to support Houses in fulfilling their security and safety duties, and make sure that they get the right level of support when necessary. This includes retail security (loss prevention), event security, health and safety as well as business continuity.

    How you will contribute/Key Responsibilities
The role is structured around three complementary missions:

Crisis & Emergency Preparedness and Response
•Methodology: Maintain crisis management procedures, member lists and tools, keeping them aligned with the Group’s crisis management policy and standards.
•Preparedness: design and deliver crisis management trainings and exercises, together with the Group Head of Crisis Management, for both the Japan and South Korea Crisis Response Teams (CRT). These sessions should be aligned with Group’s standards and adapted to the local and regional risk contexts (natural disasters, geopolitical tensions, etc.)
•Response: when actual incidents and crises occur, act as the local CRT coordinator in both countries and mobilize the teams upon decision by the local team leader and in coordination with the Group crisis organization. Report relevant information to the central CRT and oversee execution of decisions made regionally or at the Group strategic level.
•Recover: ensure that the decisions made during incidents and crisis allow for a swift recovery of the business and that relevant internal and external stakeholders are looped in to allow activities to resume.
•Incident management: advise Kering Corporate and the Houses on security & safety incidents at offices, stores and warehouses (e.g. bomb threats addressed to a House) and, when required, lead the response.
•Focus on natural disasters: ensure that the Japan CRT is up to date on the latest natural disaster risk assessments and that regular crisis response protocols are rehearsed to ensure adequate level of preparedness.

    Physical Security & Loss Prevention
•Perform physical security audits / checks of offices, stores (on demand for Houses) and warehouses.
•Advise Logistics on security practices and equipment to implement in the warehouses, in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.
•Conduct investigations into reported criminal acts (e.g. theft cases at the warehouse).
•Plan and / or support security for events (store openings, new collections, etc.) on demand by a House.
•Develop and maintain the security policies and procedures for Kering Corporate Office and the Houses.
•Support Kering Corporate and the Houses on ad-hoc security topics.

Risk Intelligence, Travel Security & Executive Protection
•Perform an annual risk assessment for Japan and South-Korea as part of the Kering Group annual Security Risk Assessment (SRA).
•Monitor the security risk landscape in Japan and South-Korea and provide analysis to Kering Group Security and, when relevant, to local Kering Corporate and House management.
•Provide travel-security advisory to business travellers coming to Japan and South-Korea.
•Escort the Kering Group Chairman and CEO during their visits to Japan and South-Korea, ensuring their security and safety.
•Support business travellers in Japan and South-Korea (and outbound from these countries) in the event of an emergency.

    Who you are?
    Experience and credentials

•Native or business-level Japanese and professional working English.

•Calm and decisive under pressure, with the ability to direct an emergency or crisis response while keeping stakeholders informed.
•Analytical mindset for risk assessment, investigations and post-incident debriefs.
•Cultural sensitivity and ability to bridge Japan, South-Korea and global headquarters in a matrix organisation.
