    About us Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house. While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful. Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director. The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion. We are currently seeking a Global VIC Manager.

    Your opportunity

    Within the Global Client Engagement Department, the Global VIC Manager leads worldwide VIC experiences within Balenciaga to contribute to the client-centric strategy to drive VIC engagement and retention.

    He leads the worldwide VIC engagement strategic planning and generates VIC innovative experiences ideas to be pioneer in VIC Engagement and manage their realization from ideas to implementation oversees regional/local excellence in execution.

    How you will contribute

    • Define worldwide Global VIC experiences strategy online to offline to drive VIC recruitment, repeat and retention: planning, calendar, budget, activations
    • Source and generate innovative and memorable VIC experiences online to offline
    • Lead the creation and development of VIC experiences & events across channels in collaboration with global stakeholders
    • Manages Collection / Products Previews from events to orders deliveries planning
    • Manage VIC agencies from budget to execution.
    • Oversee local and regional VIC experience excellence in execution: local validation, identification and development of new local initiatives.
    • Measure and share VIC insights performance learnings and best practices and develop enhancement action plan accordingly
    • Manage 1 person

    Who you are

    • A professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in VIC, PR
    • A Manager with proven experience handling VICs or PR event management
    • Curious and eager to drive creativity and to find inventive solutions  
    • Successful in tracking record of managing multiple concurrent projects involving varying priorities and problem-solving skills
    • Able to adapt quickly
    • A person with outstanding communication skills, including the ability to verbalize strategies and motivate team members
    • Able to establish productive, ongoing relationships with a variety of other contributors including management, team members, clients and vendors
