    About us Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house. While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful. Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director. The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion. We are currently seeking a Sales Merchandiser LG who will report to the Sales Merchandising LG Manager.

    Your opportunity

    You support the Sales Merchandising Manager in the day-to-day activities and business analysis of the category. You define strategy and facilitate the interaction with key other departments to improve business and you work on assortment and clusters at WW level to define seasonal orders and product life circle.

    How you will contribute

    • Support 360 products launches, product life cycle, work on drop plans and reorders
    • Improve supply processes and collaboration (DP, production, permanent offer)
    • Build successful assortments supporting global strategy and integrating local markets specificities
    • Work with visual merchandising
    • Be the referent of 4 key markets

    Who you are

    • At least 5 years of experience in Central Merchandising expertise in LG in the luxury industry or equivalent fast paced environment
    • You have excellent analytical skills, an eye for detail, a strong capacity for work and involvement
    • You have an excellent product sense and a good knowledge of the luxury market
    • Fluent in English, a second language would be a plus
    • You master the office pack, especially Excel, and are very comfortable with numbers
