Your opportunity
Within the Group Security Department, the intern will support the Security & Intelligence Manager in intelligence gathering, risk monitoring and Travel Security activities.
The internship focuses on two core areas:
Monitoring geopolitical, security, activist and reputational developments that may impact Kering, its Maisons, employees or operations.
Supporting the Group's Travel Security program and traveler risk management activities.
The intern may also be asked to support the preparation of briefing notes, research papers and analytical reports on topics related to security, geopolitics, country risk, social movements or other strategic issues relevant to the Group.
How you will contribute
Under the supervision of the Security & Intelligence Manager, the intern will support the monitoring and analysis of geopolitical, security, activist and reputational developments that may impact Kering, its Maisons, employees, travelers or operations worldwide. This includes tracking political and security risks, social unrest, activist movements, and events relevant to the Group. The intern will contribute to the preparation of briefings, analytical notes and presentations, while helping maintain monitoring tools, databases and knowledge resources related to security and geopolitical risks.
The intern will support the Group's Travel Security program by assisting with traveler monitoring, travel risk management activities and the preparation of traveler security briefings. Responsibilities may include supporting reporting activities, maintain travel security information and contributing to the production of country risk summaries, travel advisories and other materials aimed at enhancing traveler awareness and preparedness.
Depending on operational needs, the intern may also:
support security and risk management projects;
conduct research and analysis on specific security, geopolitical or risk-related topics;
provide support during major events or incidents requiring monitoring, reporting and response;
Support crisis management activities, including the planning and delivery of crisis simulation exercises.
Master's degree student (or equivalent) in International Relations, Political Science, Geopolitics, Security Studies, Intelligence, Risk Management or a related field.
Strong interest in geopolitics, security risk management and intelligence analysis.
Excellent analytical, research and writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Fluent in French and English, Italian would be an interesting add-on.
