ROLE
Within the Regional Merchandising team, the Senior Buyer will support the strategic development and performance of the Women’s Leathergoods categories across the EMEA region.
The role combines product strategy, sales planning, assortment optimization, and business analysis to drive growth while ensuring alignment with global merchandising vision and regional client expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Buying & Assortment Strategy
Define seasonal assortments for EMEA network during showroom campaigns
Optimize store allocation to maximize sales and sell-through performance at region level
Manage showroom order entry and develop buying support tools
Prepare product training materials and seasonal launch guidelines for retail teams
Reporting & Business Performance
Analyze weekly and monthly business performance through reporting and KPI tracking
Lead monthly assortment reviews and allocation strategies to optimize business performance
Drive reorder strategy on best-selling SKUs from current and past seasons to support topline objectives
Retail Network Animation
Act as the key point of contact and “go-to” partner for boutiques regarding assortment challenges and business needs
Partner closely with Retail, Visual Merchandising, CRM, and Training teams
Oversee stock transfers, replenishment, and VIC requests throughout the season
Support boutique expansion and client activation projects across the region
Create and share operational guidelines and merchandising communications with the retail network
PROFILE
Significant experience in Merchandising, Buying, or Retail Merchandising, ideally within the luxury industry
Strong fashion sensibility and deep knowledge of Leathergoods
Solid understanding of EMEA markets and luxury retail dynamics
Strong analytical mindset with excellent business acumen
Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English and French
