    Role mission

    The head bartenders of Gucci Garden Bar oversee the running of the bar, from managing the team and ensuring they provide a pleasant guest experience, to serving customers and dealing with administrative. They work shifts, which can mean long hours, as well as evening and weekend work. Applicants looking to become a Head bartender need to be good at problem-solving, organized, and have excellent communication skills. Making drinks and having an extensive knowledge of drink recipes is vital to this role. Need to have also knowledge about all F&B aspect.  Head bartenders assist in taking orders and serving customers, create signature cocktails and develop service and standard in Gucci Garden Bar . Need to have experience in Italian Bar Industry.

    Key accountabilities

    • Supports the Team to meet consistently guest expectations
    • Ensures the hospitality mindset within the team, guaranteeing the appropriate attention to customers and is able to provide active support when needed
    • Enhance the customers flow creating a synergy between the two Gucci Garden rooms, the Gallery and “Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura”
    • Builds cohesive, collaborative and effective team, developing a positive environment in which People can do their best, enhancing a sense of belonging
    • In collaboration with the other managers, lead daily store meetings to communicate current business trends and relevant updates.
    • Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor through customer engagement with top clients, ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided.
    • Lead the team on executing superior customer service and after sales experience, to increase and retain customer loyalty;
    • Working on the shop floor, be in constant contact with your team and what is happening on a day to day basis. Provide support and ongoing feedback to the associates and ensure the development of motivation, sense of belonging and business involvement;
    • Conduct monthly performance review sessions to provide constructive and timely feedback. Oversee annual review process and set annual employee goals.
    • Promote a positive and professional team environment that fosters trust, integrity and superior performance standards, leading by example.
    • Keep up to date on stock situation and proactively work with local merchandising planning teams on stock consolidation and transfers
    • He/She is able to proactively create coaching opportunities to enable service improvement.
    • He/She is able to collaborate with the Restaurant Manager Osteria Gucci to find commercial strategies to improve the business.

    Job Requirements

    • Must have experience in Bar Industry
    • He or she will be required to have a solid and consistent progressive resume built up from school training till current year
    • He or she will be highly recommended by the previous leaders
    • Additional international experience and achievements will definitely be a place
    • Must have a deep and clear understanding of Italian food and drink history, tradition, culture
    • Pre-opening – Take Over experience is definitely a plus
    • Age should be between 25 to 45
    • Need to know how to run cafeteria area, set up a menu whit a focus on Italian best seller and classic.
    • Need to be open to all the request of the guest, need to show high standard off hospitality with a smart and international approach

    • She or he will be responsible to coordinate with the purchasing departments to set up system procedure in order to obtain quality product
    • Overall implement procedures and production processes in order to run a professional and systematic restaurant and bar operation and give all the tools to the staff in order for them to perform at their best
    • Always looking for improvements in all aspects of the operation and make suggestions
    • Good knowledge of computer Word excel, understands purchasing control system
    • Must be well aware with HACCP expectations and ensure high standard of hygiene and work methods are met
    • Restaurant Ownership & business strength, excellent leadership skill and lead by example
    • Cost control oriented  include:  menu costing, portion control and to be able to schedule his staff according to business
    • Maintaining strong competitive position in an extremely price sensitive market
    • Be aware of the competition, trends while maintaining a strong competitive positioning
    • Maximizes bar profitability by ensuring portion control; monitoring accuracy of charges.
    • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures
    • Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

    Product knowledge

    • Extremely high-quality standard oriented to be able to satisfy local and international guests with high expectation with new exiting product/ingredients to try.
    • needs to be aware of the sourcing for authentic Italian products as it will redefine the success of the 2 bars. Regional/farmer grown organic products must be considered as well.
    • will ensure that the menu product selection is tailored to our primary target guests, the local residents, hotel guests, international traveller guests including the local expatriate community and obviously the Italian community markets.
    • Need to resource product to be serve during the Aperitivo and work very close to the chef for provide perfect food to be pair with the drink.
    • Must have spirits and wine knowledge
    • Must have sophisticate standard service
