    KERING Senior Group Corporate Counsel

    Your opportunity We are currently seeking a Senior Group Corporate Counsel who will report to the Group General Counsel, Mainland China as part of our dynamic legal team in China. This position is dedicated to advising and supporting Kering and its Houses in China on corporate legal matters, including lease negotiations, store planning and construction, as well as other related projects. In addition, the role will contribute to corporate legal and company secretarial matters, as well as other legal initiatives designated by the Group General Counsel, Mainland China. The roles and responsibilities of the Senior Group Corporate Counsel include, but are not limited to, the following:

    How you will contribute

    • Provide legal advice and other necessary legal support on real estate matters, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases, consignment agreements, amendments, termination documents and other related documentation
    • Partner with business teams on store planning, construction and fit-out projects, ensuring legal risks are properly identified and managed
    • Support cross-functional stakeholders, including real estate, retail, finance, tax and operations teams, throughout the lifecycle of real estate projects
    • Lead and coordinate external counsel in real estate transactions and disputes where necessary
    • Monitor and advise on relevant legal and regulatory developments relating to real estate and commercial operations in China
    • Assist with corporate governance and company secretarial matters for the Group, including maintaining corporate records, preparing shareholder resolutions and filings for various legal entities and branches in China, and liaising with headquarters and brand Houses on daily administration
    • Work with corporate counsel across the Asia Pacific region on regional legal initiatives and other legal matters to achieve and maintain regional alignment
    • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, including coaching, mentoring and giving timely, constructive feedback to support their professional development
    • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal business and legal partners, as well as external resources

    Who you are?

    • LLB required and admission to the PRC Bar
    • Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in a similar position, preferably in a reputable corporate law firm and/or a multinational company, with a primary focus on real estate-related legal services
    • Good understanding of leasing and construction-related laws and regulations, as well as legal practices in dispute resolution
    • Strong contract and policy drafting skills, as well as strong legal research skills
    • Ability to produce clear and succinct written legal analysis and business communications
    • Ability to work under pressure and with limited resources; familiarity with procedural laws and experience handling disputes and litigation
    • Team player who is self-motivated, collaborative and energetic
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
