ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. We are currently seeking a Visual Merchandiser who will report to Visual Merchandising Manager as part of our dynamic team in South East Asia.

ROLE

This role supports the Visual Merchandising Manager for South-East Asia in driving all aspects of VM for Thailand and is responsible for ensuring timely execution of corporate objectives and that key elements of the merchandising and operations strategy are translated into exciting, visual presentations and window displays in store.  In addition, this position will execute and assist with the development of the key visual merchandising programs for all business lines, ensuring consistency of all visual programs and adherence to individual business line strategies in stores.

MISSION

  • To execute the VM rotations in all Thailand stores, ensuring that the image of the brand and VM guidelines are adhered to and maintained at all times
  • To communicate with the VM Manager on store display & visual merchandising directions and support the Thailand VM projects
  • To cross-functionally communicate with Retail and Merchandising team to well adapt HQ guideline in Thailand market
  • To assist in the development and modification of the VM policy and directions for the Thailand market
  • To work in ensuring consistent excellence of visual presentation standards, and consistent roll-out of all departmental visual merchandising strategies
  • To assist in providing on the job training and coaching to ensure store employees are able to maintain and adhere to VM standards
  • To assist and coordinate other ad hoc duties and projects

PROFILE

  • Keen eye for detail with flair and passion for fashion
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resourceful and pro-active individual with creativity
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with internal and external clients, Stores as well as Head Office team members at all levels;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment;
  • Strong time management and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and to multi-task;
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure;
  • Strong PC skills, proficient use of Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Availability and eligibility to travel across Thailand
