    Reporting to the Mexico Head of Finance SSC, you will manage the complete P2P process for the Mexico Kering Financial Shared Services platform’ scope. This includes managing the process for the local Mexico Kering groups’ retail companies, as well as the Kering Shared Services. In addition to this you will manage a team that supports the entire region including US and Canada with the possibility to expand to other Latin American countries. You will ensure the accuracy and compliance of the P2P process as per the local Mexico GAAP for statutory purposes as well as international accounting standards (IFRS) and the company’s internal control and policies.     HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

    Team Management:

    • Manage a team of 17 people responsible for the P2P process for Mexico and the Americas region.
    • Supervise, train, and develop the team by fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment. Ensure effective task distribution and performance management. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the team.

    P2P Process Management:

    • Oversee the processing of invoices for local Mexico business as well as the rest of the Americas Region.
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoice processing using KPI’s to identify problem areas and address them proactively.
    • Process invoices in compliance with international and local statutory accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP), regulatory requirements (tax). Implement and maintain robust internal controls ensuring invoice accuracy and quality.
    • Work with R2R partners to support with the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing processes in Contaqi and SAP.
    • Ensure uniformity and efficiency across legal entities, identify where this is lacking and address proactively.
    • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local and regional teams, internal and external auditors, and regulators. Act as the point of reference for P2P matters at the regional level, ensuring effective and transparent communication.
    • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and quality of P2P processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
    • Participate in monthly meetings with the brands to present your results.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, Master’s Degree) is a plus.
    • Financial background (general accounting and controlling)
    • At least 5 years’ experience in a financial position ideally in a shared services environment with experience in centralization project and management of large team
    • Deep understanding and experience of financial shared services organization within Mexico, demonstrating successful experience in managing finance shared services operations across multiple entities in P2P.
    • Strong aptitude for project management and coordination of centralized projects with successful experience in Share services organization.
    • In-depth knowledge of Mexico GAAP / IFRS and proficiency in Contpaqi as well as SAP FI is highly desired
    • Excellent analytical and accounting skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
    • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop talent and work effectively in a multicultural and matric environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex financial concepts clearly to all organizational levels and to build robust relationships with internal and external partners, facilitating seamless coordination and collaboration across different functions and regions.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure within tight deadlines.
