Your opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Jr. Public Relations Specialist who will report to the Sr. PR Manager as part of our dynamic team in New York, New York.

How you will contribute:

  • Oversee sample closet of Menswear, Womenswear and Accessories and maintain NYC showroom inventory
  • Facilitate sample movement utilizing Fashion GPS
  • Communicate with national and regional magazines in order to facilitate product requests
  • Develop and maintain strong editorial relationships across print and digital media
  • Generate and execute press strategies in support of Alexander McQueen Womenswear, Menswear & Accessories collections, as well as new store openings, product launches and AMQ initiatives
  • Ensure Alexander Mcqueen is held to the highest brand positioning and standards
  • Assist with event logistics for all press related events including press days & new store openings 
  • Oversee development and distribution of all press reports, clippings and news releases in accordance with HQ guidelines
  • Monitor and report on competitor brand activity
  • Manage intern program  

Your Skills & Experience

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Public Relations 
  • Precision, strong time management and organizational skills
  • Good experience in Fashion PR and in managing people
  • Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Word and Fashion GPS
