BALENCIAGA – Senior Men’s Shoes Designer (F/H)

Your opportunity

Within the Footwear Department, you will contribute to the development of the Men’s Shoes collections by creating innovative products that bring the House’s creative vision to life.

You will be involved throughout the entire creative process, from research and concept development to the final validation of each style, working closely with Product Development teams and technical partners. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the Men’s Shoes category and delivering collections that combine creativity, innovation, and product excellence.

How you will contribute

• Familiarization with the program and collection themes with the Creative Direction concerning the Men Shoes category
• Collection of documentation on the defined themes
• Creation of sketches based on the defined themes
• Production of drawings and/or mock-ups
• Presentation and explanation of the sketches to the pattern makers
• Validation of prototypes
• Selection of materials and supplies
• Prototype development during fitting sessions
• Follow-up on the implementation of corrections to be made to the prototypes after the fitting sessions
• Final realization of the drawings (harmony, color, patterns)

Who you are

• You have significant experience in footwear design, ideally gained within a luxury House or a brand with a strong creative identity
• You possess a solid understanding of the footwear creation process, from concept development through to product development, as well as a good knowledge of technical and manufacturing constraints
• With a strong creative sensibility, you are able to translate a creative vision into innovative, desirable products that align with the identity of the House
• Recognized for your expertise in footwear construction, volumes, materials, and color development, you have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to product excellence
• Curious and culturally aware, you continuously draw inspiration from emerging trends, craftsmanship, innovation, and the broader fashion landscape
• Comfortable working in fast-paced and demanding environments, you demonstrate agility, rigor, and excellent prioritization skills
• Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from creative teams to product development partners
• You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop. Knowledge of 3D design tools is considered a plus.
