ROLE MISSION
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most prestigious luxury Houses within the Kering Group and to contribute to the legal and compliance agenda of an international Maison rooted in Roman tailoring excellence. You will support the General Counsel on a broad range of legal, corporate, intellectual property and compliance matters, acting as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders across commercial, retail, wholesale, marketing, product, operations and corporate functions. The role offers exposure to complex cross-border projects, strategic contractual negotiations, brand protection matters, corporate governance activities and the implementation of Group compliance standards in a fast-paced international environment.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of domestic and international commercial agreements in Italian and English, including distribution, franchise, licensing, wholesale and retail, supply and manufacturing, services, marketing, sponsorship, endorsement, digital and e-commerce, leasing, and confidentiality arrangements.
- Providing day-to-day legal support to business functions on commercial, operational and strategic projects, helping the business identify pragmatic, risk-aware and business-oriented legal solutions.
- Supporting intellectual property matters related to the protection, management, and enhancement of Brioni’s global trademark and brand portfolio, in close coordination with external counsel and Kering Legal teams.
- Supporting corporate governance activities, including the preparation of board and shareholders’ documentation, powers of attorney, company books, corporate records, databases and filings, as well as coordination with notaries, corporate advisors and public authorities.
- Assisting on legal aspects of retail, wholesale, franchising and real estate projects across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring consistency of contractual standards and alignment with business needs.
- Coordinating relationships with external law firms and legal advisors, contributing to efficient matter management, quality of advice, consistency of approach and cost control.
- Supporting the General Counsel in the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the Kering Compliance Program within Brioni and in the deployment of Group policies and procedures, including ethics and integrity, anti-corruption, sanctions, third-party due diligence, whistleblowing, competition law and business partner compliance requirements.
WHO YOU ARE
- Master’s Degree in Law
- Admitted to the Italian Bar
- At least 4/5 years of professional experience gained in leading international law firms and/or in-house legal departments of multinational companies
- Previous experience in international companies within the luxury, fashion, retail, consumer goods or jewellery industry would be considered a strong plus
- Solid experience in commercial contracts and general corporate law matters; exposure to compliance, intellectual property and international business operations is highly appreciated
- Fluent English, at least C1 level
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to combine legal accuracy with a pragmatic, hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic international environment
- Team-oriented, proactive, curious, motivated and able to adapt to a constantly evolving business environment
- Resilient, precise and able to work with autonomy, accountability and sound judgment
