    GUCCI RTW Embroidery Purchasing Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Reporting to the RTW Purchasing Embroidery Team Manager, the RTW Purchasing Embroidery Specialist supports the sourcing and development of embroidery solutions for RTW collections. She/he coordinates with suppliers and internal teams, follows up on samples and developments, and ensures timely execution in line with quality, technical, and collection requirements.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Creation of embroidery master data
    • Liaising with the Design and Product departments
    • Supplier liaison
    • Monitoring shipments of embroidery materials
    • Monitoring order status
    • Inspecting incoming embroidery
    • Maintaining collection progress tracking tools
    • Assessing requirements based on finished product orders using MRP logic
    • Placing purchase orders/production orders with suppliers and arranging material shipments
    • Monitoring progress during production stages
    • Expediting overdue orders and following up on the resolution of any issues that arise
    • Rescheduling deliveries for non-compliant products
    • Preparing statistics and reports upon request
    • Delivery forecasting
    • Contract management
    • Overseeing accounting aspects

    Requirements

    • 2–3 years of experience in purchasing or product development within luxury brands
    • Knowledge of suppliers, products, costs, and production processes
    • Technical background or a degree in Economics/Business
    • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
    • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven approach
    • Fluent English

    Key challenges

    • Supporting embroidery sourcing activities meeting collection requirements, quality standards, and development deadlines.
    • Coordinating with embroidery suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely follow-up of developments, samples, and production requirements.
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of embroidery developments, suppliers, samples, and technical information.
    • Managing multiple embroidery developments and priorities simultaneously, ensuring attention to detail and timely execution.
    • Supporting the team in identifying innovative and technically feasible embroidery solutions while ensuring luxury quality standards and alignment with collection aesthetics.

    Salary Package

    • Gross Annual Salary: 30.000,00 € (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, should specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).
