We are currently looking for an Indirect Procurement Senior Specialist who will support the Indirect Procurement Manager in managing the company’s products and services purchases at group level, with a particular focus on Brand, Sales and Marketing categories.
You will assist, propose, and support on new procurement projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of procurement standards and strategies of the assigned categories and the related P2P activities and contracting (purchase orders, saving reporting, supply contracts, project presentation, etc).
How you will contribute
You will be accountable for the delivery of key objectives and process improvements, with a cost and quality monitoring and you will be responsible for the following activities:
- To constantly monitor and manage the Company spend and Indirect categories assigned: Brand Content, Creative Agencies, E-commerce, Media, Digital, Events, PR, Trade Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Gift, CRM & Clienteling, Printed materials (BTL & Corporate),
- To identify and manage new categories to be addressed and support new procurement culture implementation,
- To support and implement procurement strategies and initiatives: performing competitive sourcing activities, scouting and searching of new potential suppliers, negotiating, and analysing scenarios to be proposed for final selection,
- To manage supplier relationships and performance and to build effective partnerships,
- To manage and negotiate, in collaboration with legal department supply contracts, to ensure full compliance with the Company guidelines and standards,
- To order materials and products (as per negotiated and appropriately approved) and to review quotations,
- To implement knowledge and share information about procurement best practices and innovative ideas,
- To monitor supplier’s performance,
- To report procurement performance, collecting forecasts and updating them as and when required, creating reports (establishing business intelligence and management information from available data),
- To liaise with internal customer departments as well as Legal and Finance and providing proactive support,
- To Integrate Group Sustainability requirements in products and processes.
Who you are:
- You have a solid experience in the role in International Companies (5 years), knowledge and management of Brand, Sales and Marketing Categories is a plus,
- Great in collecting and analysing data; strong organizational and time management skills,
- Excellent negotiation, networking skills and problem-solving capabilities, customer oriented,
- Ability to work with cross-functional team within the organization,
- Proactive, motivated and with a positive attitude,
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, etc), Esker & SAP is a plus,
- You are diligent, result and details oriented,
- You are a team player, proactive and with strong interpersonal and communication skills,
- Degree in Economics or Engineer preferred,
- You are fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus.
