Creation at the heart of our strategy
Kering promotes modern, authentic, and genuine Luxury that enables everyone to express his or her unique personality. A Luxury based on creative risk-taking and sincerity that inspires dreams and emotions. This conception of Luxury is at the heart of our business model and organization. By placing creativity at the heart of its strategy, Kering enables its Houses to set new limits in terms of their creative expression while crafting tomorrow's Luxury in a sustainable and responsible way.
We capture these beliefs in our signature: Empowering Imagination. And it is what drives our ambition: to be the world’s most influential Luxury group in terms of creativity, sustainability, and economic performance.
A name that expresses our values
Our name is pronounced “caring,” a word that also reflects how we think of and build our relationships with our Houses, employees, customers, and our stakeholders in general – as well as with the planet.
In the Breton language – an allusion to the Group’s origins – ker means home or a place to live. We have constructed the Group as a welcoming place where our employees and our Houses can grow and flourish. Likewise, the owl we have chosen as our emblem symbolizes wisdom, protection, and vision – three qualities we want at the core of our management model.
