New CEOs appointed at Ginori 1735 and Brioni

Kering today announces the appointment of Mehdi Benabadji as the new CEO of Ginori 1735 and Federico Arrigoni as the new CEO of Brioni, effective May 6, 2025.

Mehdi Benabadji, who has led Brioni as CEO since 2020, brings to Ginori 1735 a strong track record in strategic transformation and international development. Under his leadership, Brioni underwent a successful operational reorganization and experienced strong growth momentum, reinforcing its position in the luxury menswear landscape. As CEO of Ginori 1735, he will spearhead the next phase of expansion for the iconic Florentine House and further elevate its position in the global luxury lifestyle and homeware segment. He will report to Jean-Marc Duplaix, Kering Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer.

"Ginori 1735 is a gem of Italian savoir-faire in porcelain, tableware and decoration, and I am glad that Mehdi will bring his deep understanding of traditional craftsmanship as well as his strong experience in international brand development to the House. I am sure that he will help Ginori 1735 reach the further stage in its global growth,” said Jean-Marc Duplaix.

Federico Arrigoni was most recently Deputy CEO and Asia Pacific President of Saint Laurent. He joined Kering in 2006 at Gucci and was appointed subsequently Worldwide HR Director at Saint Laurent in 2015. Since then, he has consolidated his experience within the French House, covering key international positions such as Asia Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer. In 2023, he was appointed Saint Laurent Deputy CEO, directly overseeing all industrial operations and commercial activities for the brand. As CEO of Brioni, his mission will be to further consolidate the global positioning of the House and increase its desirability and success. He will report to Francesca Bellettini, Kering Deputy CEO in charge of Brand Development.

“I am proud to see Federico becoming CEO of Brioni. I trust that his extensive knowledge of the industry and his strong international experience make him the best profile to drive Brioni into the next phase of its development, building on the House’s remarkable history and achievements,” said Francesca Bellettini.
