Regenerative Fund for Nature - Epiterre

In the Midi-Pyrénées region of Southwestern France, recent climactic changes have negatively impacted local vegetation, with cascading impacts on biodiversity and fodder for livestock. The Epiterre project seeks to restore ecological balance and to safeguard producer livelihoods by implementing a resilient agro-ecological model that promotes the growth of quality, nature-friendly fodder.

Kering Clean by Design

Crafting change together with the Natural Resources Defense Council and our suppliers, the Kering Clean by Design programme has just concluded its first phase at 24 of our Group’s textile mills. In addition to environmental benefits such as 100% phase-out of fossil fuels and reductions in CO2 emissions, the programme has also resulted in economic savings, closer collaboration and greater transparency within Italy’s luxury sector.

2017 Kering Award for Sustainable Fashion

Take a look at the students’ projects for the 2017 Kering Award for Sustainable Fashion. As part of the 2017 Kering Award for Sustainable Fashion, Gucci and Stella McCartney set 100 London College of Fashion students a sustainability challenge from which ten finalist projects were selected. The 2017 Kering Award for Sustainable Fashion was presented to four outstanding students: Laure Fernandez and Charlie Wilkinson for Gucci; and Dianjen Lin and Jennifer Kusowski for Stella McCartney. This year’s projects showed exceptional ingenuity and a multidisciplinary approach, blending science, technology and design.
