Your opportunity
You will form an integral part of the Customs Department within the Integrated Logistics Business Unit, managing the customs procedures for the import and export of goods and handling the customs inventory. You will also discharge incoming transit documents and verify the certificates of origin and accompanying documentation before archiving them. Moreover, you will organise and deliver invoices to the administration offices.
How you will contribute
Perform the opening of the exit file according to customs and / or commercial criteria
Perform formal check of sales invoices (delivery conditions, proof of origin, fine leather, ADR, CMP, etc.)
Check the customs status of the goods
Observe ancillary procedures (CITES, CMP, ADR)
Import sales invoices into the Stock.it customs system
Declare the import invoices through the Declare.it program
Verify the acceptance of the declaration in the Declare.it customs system
Download import lists by assigning them to sales invoices
Issues the shipping notice to the carrier for the collection of the goods
Authorizes the loading of the goods by generating the outbound journey through GGEURO
Declare the goods of the previous seasons from the European and Extra-EEC stores through the Declare.it customs program
Notify the warehouse of the nationalization of the goods for their loading in the warehouse
Declares the goods for export through the Stock.it customs program
Who you are
A high school graduate (a university graduate in economics would be a plus)
Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
Expert in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Highly knowledgeable about Swiss customs regulations regarding the transit of foreign entry goods and the legislation of customs and the Demand Deposit Account (would be a plus)
Greatly informed about international agreements regarding the origin of goods, worldwide CITES regulation and general trade: international shipping incoterms, invoicing and issues (would be a plus), experienced in international logistics flows as a plus
Proactive team player
Preferably an individual with experience in the cross-border transportation field
