Your Opportunity
We are looking for a curricular intern to join our Tax team in Scandicci, supporting the Tax Manager in daily activities and projects while gaining hands-on experience in the field
How you will contribute
The intern will be integrated into the Group’s tax function and will support the EMEAR and Global Digital Tax Manager in a broad range of direct and indirect tax activities with both local and international reach. The position offers a highly dynamic and business-oriented learning environment, with exposure to cross-border tax matters, digital tax developments, and tax implications of new business models.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the analysis and management of tax matters impacting the division, from both domestic and international perspectives, with a focus on Withholding Taxes (WHT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), VAT, and Customs Duties
Supporting the provision of tax advice in the form of internal memos and email communications, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws within deadlines
Supporting the identification, assessment, and implementation of tax planning opportunities in the areas of direct and indirect taxes, including customs
Assisting in the preparation of the Transfer Pricing documentation (Country Files, Disclosure Forms)
Conducting tax impact analysis related to expansion into new markets and new distribution channels, including digital and e-commerce models
Who you are
Academic background in Tax Law, Economics, or Accounting
Proficient in Excel and Word, good knowledge of Tax software/database is a plus
Interest in international taxation and tax digital economy trends
A professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and proactive attitude
An individual able to analyze legal and tax topics with a precise an accurate approach
An excellent communicator at every level in the organization with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment
Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
