    ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear. We are currently seeking a WW Retail Operations Projects Manager who will report to the WW Retail Operations Director as part of our Retail Excellence team based in Paris. This role within the WW Operations department will have a clear focus on the upcoming projects for the brand, in collaboration with the Group.

    ROLE

    Contributes to the improvement of employee and customer experience by ensuring that retail operational projects and processes (such as traffic analysis, MTO operations among others, …) are compliant with Brand and Group standards, while supporting operational efficiency and business growth.

    The WW Retail Operations Projects Manager acts as a key partner to Regional Retail Operations Managers, supporting the coordination, deployment, and monitoring of cross-functional operational projects impacting store performance and compliance.

    The role serves as a central relay between regions, HQ, and Group corporate departments (Retail Operations, IT, Store Design, Legal, Compliance, Merchandising, CRM, Finance, Supply Chain), ensuring alignment, structured communication, and disciplined execution of WW standards at store level.

    The role plays a critical part in harmonizing processes across regions, driving continuous improvement, and enabling the network to operate efficiently while protecting brand image, customer experience, and employee working conditions.

    MISSION

    PROCESSES

    • Lead and coordinate WW retail operational initiatives to improve store performance and workflows on topics such as Traffic counting, MTO, Back of House operations among others
    • Define, standardize, and deploy operational processes, tools, and best practices across the retail network
    • Ensure smooth implementation of new operational systems and tools, with a focus on data accuracy, usability, and adoption by field teams
    • Monitor execution at regional and store level, perform gap analysis against standards, and drive corrective action plans
    • Maintain up-to-date operational documentation, guidelines, and procedures
    • Support on different Image and IT Retail Operations ad-hoc projects
    • Foster continuous feedback from regions to improve tools, processes, and project governance

    2) COMPLIANCE

    • Ensure that all project-related processes comply with Brand, Group, legal, fiscal, data privacy, sustainability, safety, and HR requirements
    • Support audits, controls, and corrective action plans related to operational compliance
    • Act as a key interface between Retail Operations and internal stakeholders such as IT, Store Design, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Training, CRM, Finance, HR, and Compliance
    • Coordinate external partners and suppliers to ensure quality, timelines, and budget adherence

    3) SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE BUSINESS

    • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making related to staffing, capacity, and store performance
    • Contribute to store network performance improvement
    • Partner with regional teams to adapt projects to local constraints while protecting WW standards and brand consistency
    • Evaluate operational performance KPIs and propose structured action plans to support growth, service level, and profitability

    4) EFFICIENCY OF THE NETWORK

    • Identify, anticipate, and resolve operational issues, inefficiencies and process gaps in order to improve cost and efficiency
    • Drive harmonization between regions through continuous benchmarking against WW standards and best practices
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and supplier performance, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery

    5) BRAND IMAGE

    • Ensure that all projects and operational solutions uphold the Brand image and client experience standards
    • Guarantee high levels of professionalism in communication, project governance, and cross-functional collaboration
    • Ensure delicate operational or store situations are handled with accuracy, discretion, and in line with Image and Service guidelines
    • Act as a key interface with internal stakeholders and external partners (technology providers, consultants, contractors) with a service-oriented, collaborative, and pragmatic mindset

    PROFILE

    • University degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent
    • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Retail Operations or Project Management, with strong exposure to store-level processes and multi-country environments
    • Proven experience in leading cross-functional retail projects
    • Solid understanding of IT-driven retail systems and data-based tools
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable operational insights and improvement plans
    • Demonstrated experience in process definition, standardization, and deployment across regions, including documentation and training
    • High sensitivity to compliance requirements (data privacy/GDPR, H&S, loss prevention, operational risk) applied to retail environments
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; structured, organized, and able to operate autonomously in a matrix organization
    • Flexible and adaptable mindset, able to manage changing retail priorities and support strategic transformations
    • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken); Italian is a strong plus
    • Willingness to travel approximately 15–20%, including store visits and regional workshops
