SUMMARY

This is a newly created position to assist for planning and executing women’s merchandising functions, including in supporting seasonal purchase, inventory, product delivery and training, so as to achieve sales and profit targets based on the seasonal business plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To assist in planning and executing all buying activities in Southeast Asia & Oceania
  • To manage inventory, delivery and re-order situation to ensure a healthy and appropriate mix and stock level are maintained
  • To compose relative sales report and analysis
  • To monitor sales and sell-through situation and initiate appropriate business strategies to liquidate stock in order to achieve sales target
  • To conduct extensive market research and analysis
  • To assist in providing seasonal product training and fashion trend information to the front-line staff

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Retail & Management, Textiles or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in women’s fashion merchandising/buying with international luxury retail companies
  • Strong fashion and market sense with solid high-end fashion experience
  • Experience in managing and buying for the Southeast Asia & Oceania market is preferred
  • Possess extensive knowledge in merchandise planning, sales, marketing and promotions
  • Well organised, self-initiative, excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
  • Good team player with strong sense of responsibility
  • Good PC skills such as MS Office
