Your opportunity

The main role of this position provides a strategic interface between brands in Greater China and IT, engaging stakeholders, managing relationships and understanding business requirements to align technology solutions and services to enable the achievement of short and long-term business objectives in the region.

He/She is accountable for end-to-end delivery of technology solutions and services to ensure business and customer satisfaction while keeping in mind at all the times the Group standards and guidelines with a high degree of cooperation and transparency with all the stakeholders.

Additionally, manage Kering IT technologies team in Greater China. And make Greater China IT aligned with Global and regional strategies.

How you will contribute

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Provide IT leadership in Greater China.
  • Align IT strategy to enable the Greater China business strategy.
  • Trusted advisor and partner to the brands and other functions.

Engagement/Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain a strategic and positive relationship with business stakeholders.
  • Understand business context, strategy and plans, identifying customer requirements and needs.
  • Maintains awareness of changes to the organization (s) strategy, goals and processes to ensure requirements appropriately reflect the needs of the organization(s).
  • Facilitates changes in services required/provided when necessary.
  • Influence China business innovation and lead technology innovation in Greater China
  • Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impacts on products, business processes and system priorities.

Customer Satisfaction/Service Fulfilment:

  • Accountable for end-to-end delivery of IT services in the region according to SLAs.
  • Manages costumer expectations.

People Leadership:

  • Accountable for the performance of the IT resources in Greater China
  • Set performances objectives, individual development plans and conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Create experiences that motivate, stretch and celebrate the capacities of resources in the region.
  • Coach, guide and mentor IT team in the region.

Who you are

         Experience, business and technical skills

  • Requires leadership, business knowledge, negotiation skills and experience/in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure operations and/or software implementation and support across multiple countries.
  • Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver IT projects across multiple countries on time and within budget.
  • Requires experience in managing teams and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.
  • Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver IT projects across multiple countries on time and within budget.
  • Strong sense of Customer service is required.

Soft skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP implementation and design within a Retail environment (as well associated processes and business practices) is an advantage.
  • Functional and process knowledge of Retail POS, ERP, CRM, Finance Human Resource and Logistics systems is definitely preferred.
  • Very strong interpersonal communication skills including active listening, clear writing and speaking, as well as coordination, persuasion, negotiation and social perceptiveness is mandatory.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory.
  • Minimum 7 years IS experience within complex/multinational IT environment (prior experience in Luxury Retail is an advantage)
  • Minimum 5 years IS management experience with a team of at least 6 to 10 people.
