ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio- cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear. We are currently seeking an Trainer who will report to the HR Manager as part of our dynamic team.

ROLE

You will Implement and localize training Initiatives from headquarter for program delivery.

MISSION

FACILITATION

  • Assist APAC Training Manager and KR HR Manager to deploy corporate training activities
  • Implement and localize training Initiatives from headquarter for program delivery
  • Select, brief and monitor external providers/facilitators when necessary
  • Ensure induction sessions for all new hires (retail and office) within appropriate formats
  • Delivery of focused training sessions for the store based on local needs (with focus on Brand, Products, Selling, Customer Service & CRM topics)
  • Manage training logistics process (classroom settings, venue rental and its logistic, electronic equipments, training material interpretation & preparation)

FOLLOW UP

  • Develop follow-up tools for the participants and on-the-job check
  • Coach retail team in delivering constructive training feedback and implementations
  • Conduct regular store visit and attachment for preparing quick-fix workshop
  • Monitor the usage of training and information material
  • Consolidate and update training databases (attendance, participant name, training dates, programs, records, evaluations etc.)

TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS

  • Work with APAC Training Manager and local HR Managers to understand and identify the training needs from retail team
  • Complete the annual training schedule on a monthly basis according to field visits and in depth observation and discussions with the teams

PROFILE

  • 3 to 5 years training experience preferably in the retail industry or consultancy company with exposure in facilitation and content development
  • Open minded, inspiring, adaptable, energetic and passionate
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Excellent time and task management skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Proficient in MS Office functionalities & e-learning platform
  • Traveling is required
