Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the Global Head of Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding will define, lead and elevate Gucci’s global talent acquisition, talent attraction and employer branding strategy, ensuring the brand attracts, engages and selects the best talent worldwide.
This role is accountable for building a future-ready talent acquisition ecosystem that combines strategic workforce anticipation, proactive talent mapping, premium candidate experience, employer brand storytelling, university and school partnerships, data-driven recruitment, and close collaboration with Kering on global talent initiatives.
1. Global Talent Acquisition Strategy & Executive Hiring
- Define and execute Gucci’s global Talent Acquisition strategy, aligned with business priorities, workforce planning and future talent needs.
- Lead strategic, executive and critical hiring activities globally, ensuring strong talent pipelines across all functions and geographies.
- Partner with senior leaders and HR stakeholders to anticipate talent needs, support succession planning and provide market intelligence.
- Drive a proactive approach to talent mapping, pipeline building and candidate engagement.
2. Employer Branding, EVP & Talent Attraction
- Define and activate Gucci’s global Employer Branding and Employer Value Proposition strategy across all talent audiences and markets.
- Partner with Internal Communication, Brand and HR teams to strengthen Gucci’s positioning as an employer of choice.
- Lead employer branding initiatives, storytelling campaigns and candidate attraction programs that enhance visibility, reputation and talent engagement.
- Ensure a distinctive, consistent and authentic employer brand experience across all candidate touchpoints.
3. University Partnerships, Early Careers & Talent Programs
- Develop and lead Gucci’s global university, business school and hospitality school partnership strategy.
- Build strategic relationships with leading academic institutions to strengthen talent pipelines across key business functions.
- Oversee internships, early-career recruitment, internship communities and talent programs, ensuring a strong pipeline of future talent.
- Partner with Kering and external institutions to drive innovative talent attraction and campus initiatives.
4. Recruitment Excellence, Candidate Experience & Talent Acquisition Operations
- Ensure excellence, consistency and continuous improvement across the end-to-end recruitment process globally.
- Elevate candidate and hiring manager experience through best-in-class recruitment standards, tools, governance and training.
- Lead the evolution of Talent Acquisition capabilities, processes, digital solutions and operating models.
- Drive recruitment effectiveness through data, analytics, automation and continuous performance monitoring.
5. Kering Collaboration, Strategic Partnerships & Market Intelligence
- Act as Gucci’s key Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding representative within Kering Group initiatives.
- Lead collaboration on strategic projects including Talent Match, campus strategy, sourcing platforms, global agreements and talent transformation initiatives.
- Manage relationships with executive search firms, recruitment partners, universities and external vendors to maximize talent attraction effectiveness.
- Ensure Gucci remains at the forefront of market trends, talent insights and innovative attraction strategies.
6. Leadership, Team Development & Community Building
- Lead, coach and develop the Global Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
- Build and animate a strong global Talent Acquisition community, promoting consistency, knowledge sharing and best practices across regions.
- Act as a change leader, driving transformation initiatives and strengthening Talent Acquisition’s strategic impact across the organization.
- Champion an inclusive, data-driven and business-oriented talent culture aligned with Gucci’s values and growth ambitions.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Talent Management or broader Human Resources leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading a global or multi-regional Talent Acquisition function within a complex, matrixed and international organization.
- Demonstrated track record in defining and implementing talent acquisition strategies that support business growth, transformation and organizational evolution.
- Strong experience managing executive, senior leadership and business-critical recruitment projects across multiple geographies and functions.
- Proven experience in Employer Branding, EVP development and talent attraction programs, with the ability to translate culture and brand identity into compelling talent strategies.
- Experience building and managing strategic partnerships with universities, business schools, hospitality schools and external talent ecosystems.
- Strong exposure to global HR transformation, recruitment operating models, digital recruitment platforms and talent intelligence solutions.
- Experience working within highly consumer-centric, brand-driven or premium/luxury environments is strongly preferred.
- Gross Annual Salary: 70000 € (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, should specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).
