Reporting to the Ready To Wear Samples Coordinator, the RTW ironer contributes to the execution and continuous improvement of the activities of the Novara Atelier. The role is responsible for ironing activities, managing different phases of the process, preparation, intermediate ironing and final ironing of outerwear and light prototype and sample garments. The resource plays a key role in the early stages of collection development, contributing to the creation of prototypes and sample garments in accordance with the instructions of the Product Development and Creative teams.

    Key Accountabilities 

    • Take care of the ironing process of the first prototype
    • Evaluate and implement constructive changes aimed at improving the fit, in collaboration with the manager, pattern makers and technicians.
    • Iron the sample items according to the defined technical specifications.
    • Iron pre-production garments, ensuring compliance with industrialization requirements.
    • To guarantee high quality standards and executive accuracy during all stages of garment development.

     Requirements 

    • In-depth knowledge of the clothing production cycle with main focus on the ironing phase.
    • Diploma in Clothing Technology, Tailoring or equivalent qualification.
    • Experience in ironing and finishing activities.
    • Ability to use the main ironing machines
    • Good knowledge of fabrics, yarns and garment construction techniques.
    • Speed and precision in the analysis and interpretation of paper patterns.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of the Italian language; Knowledge of a second language is a plus.

    Key challenges  

    • To take care of the ironing of high-quality garments for the collections, guaranteeing manufacturing excellence and maximum attention to detail.
    • Collaborate daily with pattern makers and sample technicians to transform creative concepts into finished products.
    • Supporting the development of collections in all phases, from prototyping to the creation of samples.
    • Accurately interpret and apply technical and production specifications during the ironing process.
    • Contribute to the adherence to development timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
    • Operating in a dynamic and highly specialized context, promoting teamwork and continuous collaboration with all the functions involved in the development of the collection.

    Salary Package 

    • Gross Annual Salary : 32.000 € (unless otherwise agreed; in the event of a positive selection outcome, higher compensation may be considered based on objectively assessed experience, autonomy, and specific competencies).
