Reporting to the Ready To Wear Samples Coordinator, the RTW Tailor drives the implementation and improvement of the Atelier Novara strategy. She/he is accountable to drive the Assembling and Prototyping: handles various parts of the sample/product creation process, from cutting materials to assembling parts and drawing specifications and patterns. Part of the first steps of collection creation process. Involved in the creation of prototypes or finished goods following guidelines from the Product development and Creative departments.

    Key Accountabilities 

    • Cunstruct the first prototype
    • Evaluate construction adjustments to improve the garment’s fit, liaising with the manager and the team of pattern makers and technicians
    • Revise the garment based on fit corrections
    • Cunstruct the sample garment
    • Produce the pre-production garment (industrialized version)

    Requirements 

    • Expert (Minimum 4-5 years) in the garment production cycle and various manufacturing stages
    • Diploma in garment technology or tailoring
    • Skilled in operating machinery (overlock, lockstitch, etc.)
    • Good knowledge of fabrics and yarns
    • Experience with ironing/pressing
    • Fast and precise in analyzing and interpreting patterns
    • Effective at organization and planning
    • Fluent in Italian and proficient in a second language

    Key challenges  

    • Produce high-quality garments for the collections, ensuring excellence in craftsmanship and attention to detail.
    • Collaborate closely with pattern makers and sample technicians to transform creative concepts into finished products.
    • Support the development of collections throughout all stages, from prototype creation to sample production.
    • Accurately interpret and execute technical and production specifications during the garment construction process.
    • Contribute to meeting development timelines while maintaining precision, quality, and attention to detail.
    • Work in a dynamic and highly specialized environment, fostering teamwork and continuous collaboration with all functions involved in the collection development process.

    Salary Package 

    • Gross Annual Salary : 27.000 € (unless otherwise agreed; in the event of a positive selection outcome, higher compensation may be considered based on objectively assessed experience, autonomy, and specific competencies).
