Key Accountabilities
Market Intelligence: consolidate inputs from the regions and channels on business trend, competitor offer, and products’ needs;
Buying activities: performing quantitative analysis to define Master Orders ensuring a balanced global product mix, aligning with the Collection Merchandising on the key seasonal messages and core product selection;
Collaboration with the planning team for the definition of open-to-buy and the subsequent split by region;
Inventory activities: work on stock level optimization across regions and channels to maximize sales; analyze selling trends highlighting actions on reorders or cancellations; constantly monitor monthly supply and slow movers;
Sales Activities: constant collaboration with regional buyers to gather product feedback and market needs in order to understand each market and exploit business opportunities; conduct qualitative analysis on a daily base and elaborate and share with Collection Merchandising and Merchandising Manager inputs in terms of Visual Merchandising and merchandise relocation;
Support to the demand planning team in managing orders for continuous items
Team Leadership: become a reference point for the assigned category/market for regional merchandising teams and ensure a proper translation of HQ key messages into regional structures.
Key Requirements
At least 7 years of experience in a similar role in the luxury/fashion industry
Strong product sensitivity and passion for Women’s Shoes categories
Experience in large volume distribution
Fluency in English
Sound analytical and numerical capabilities
Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
Educational background preferably in business management or similar
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Passionate about exceeding corporate goals, driving business results and going the extra mile in the daily work
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Sound knowledge of the current market and consumer trends
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Salary Package
Gross Annual Salary: 55.000€ (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, should specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).
NCBA (National Collective Bargaining Agreement): CCNL Industria Pelli e Succedanei (unique alphanumeric code: D111)
Bonuses and Commissions: Annual Target Bonus as per company policies and regulations in force from time to time, up to 15% of the Gross Annual Salary.
