Your Opportunity

Kering is currently seeking a Senior Accountant based in our Seacucus, New Jersey location, which will be moving to Wayne, New Jersey in the beginning of 2020.

How you will contribute

  • Maintain general ledger records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization
  • Investigate budget and variance issues
  • Analyze financial data in order to prepare financial reports and prepare budget forecasts.
  • Generate and interpret financial records and statements for management
  • Records accounting information in a professional and detailed fashion
  • Balances subsidiary accounts by authenticating, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and addressing discrepancies
  • Prints checks
  • Prepare trial balances
  • Complies with legal and company policies
  • Secures sensitive financial data by keeping paper documents and backups
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly BS account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to Management’s attention
  • Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
  • Conduct regular ledger maintenance
  • Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
  • Analyzes and schedules general ledger accounts in order to help external audit request

Who you are

  • 5 – 7 years of accounting experience in Corporate Environment
  • In-depth Knowledge of Accounting Principles - GAAP and IFRS
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Ability to meet hard deadlines
  • math skills to analyze financial data
  • Experience utilizing accounting and finance software such as SAP, Hyperion, MS Excel, Smartview, Lawson, Movex and so on
  • Understanding of confidentiality laws
